Project Details
Description
Natural attenuation has gained more and more interest as a remediation strategy for grundwater contaminated by petroleum hydrocarbons and chlorinated solvents. The current project focus on the actual potential for natural attenuation as a remedy. The dependency on the conditions with respect to geology, redox and type of contamints are investigated and the estimation of mass removal by different methods is evaluated. As a part of the project Poul L. Bjerg acts as technical advisor for the Danish EPA.
