Project Details
Description
Investigation of multiphase flow in laboratory cells, where well defined fracture geometries have been built into consolidated blocks of porous media. The fractured systems are characterized with respect to hydraulic properties through single phase flow experiments (water), solute transport experiments (chloride), and two phase flow experiments (oil, water). The collected data on breakthrough curves and pressure measurements are compared to results from alternative numerical models
