MRV-related information for Advancing Sustainable Shipping

MASSHIP aims to support the evidence-based policy dialogue on greening international shipping by analysing available Monitoring, Reporting and Verification (MRV) data on fuel consumption and CO2 emission from leading Danish companies. The analysis will be used to compare the approaches that the EU and IMO follow in enhancing shipping sustainability, to assess the effectiveness of the proposed performance indices and to draw policy and R&D recommendations on the subject. The project aspires to support the national position in the international fora and to contribute in implementing the Blue Denmark vision.
