Description

This project investigates migration and mortality of coastal fishes. The investigated species are targeted by recreational fisheries. Study species includes brown trout, turbot and flounder, typically residing in the Roskilde Fjord. The study applies various tagging methods to track fish in the wild to uncover bottle necks and important marine areas. The studies are carried out in close collaboration with recreational fishers.

The project is funded by the Danish Rod and Net Fish License Funds.
