Description
The development of an aperture-coupled microstrip patch antenna for the European Space Agency (ESA) was brought to an end in 1999. In continuation, a research cooperation was undertaken with Demokritos University of Thrace in the area of electromagnetic field behaviour in multilayered media and preliminary design formulas for antennas in such media.
