    Description

The starting point is a wish to reduce the consumption of energy in new buildings, for instance by laying down a lower energy limit. For that reason there is a need to illustrate where the economically optimal energy limit is under different scenarios of the price trend in the energy field. Thus, the object of the project is, in co-operation with a standard-house firm, to carry out overall economic analyses of different known and new proposals for energy-conserving provisions in the shape of better insulation of the building envelope and utilization of heat recovery etc. Further, the object is, in the form of measurements on a model house, to prove that it is possible to build good houses with regard to economy, indoor climate and architecture even though they are insulated etc. so that the need for heating is decreased by 50 per cent compared with BR-95.
A model house will be constructed and measured with optimized solutions in order to document the conditions with regard to comsumption of energy, indoor climate and economy as well as architecture.
