    Description

Company experience with cleaner technology and environmental management is analysed. Focus is on the development of company action plans for environmental management and on the changes in environmental company performance through cleaner technology and environmental management. Important topics are 1) the use of existing company data for environmental management; 2)internal and external capacity building through networking within product chains and through organisational development, 3) the interrelations between environmental impact, working environment and quality.
At the societal level, focus is on the use of the concept of 'environmental space' in public regulation, on green accounts as managerial and regulatory tool and on the use of life cycle assessments for assessment of different product and service systems. Co-operation is established with the environmental organisation NOAH about the use of the concept of 'environmental space'.
