    Description

    The project aims at obtaining a fundamental understanding of the mechanisms involved in the regulation of the anaerobic pyruvate metabolism of Lactococcus lactis. The investigation will consider both the influence of gene expression levels and the significance of allosteric effectors on enzymes leading to end product formation.
