Description
The aim of this study is to examine the galactose metabolism of S. cerevisiae with focus on elimination of glucose repression. The study will serve to clarify the regulation of the galactose metabolism, and a mathematical model will be proposed for the description of the molecular mechanisms involved in the regulation of the galactose metabolism.
