Description
The aim of the project is to set up a mechanistic model describing the synthesis and secretion of alfa-amylase in A. oryzae. The model is to describe several processes in detail, including transcription, translation, glycosylation and secretion. Also, the comprehensive regulation of the TAKA promoter (e.g. catabolite repression) is to be included in the model.
