Project Details
Description
Coastal marine habitats provide important, productive feeding areas and juvenile growth areas. It has been estimated that 71% of exploited fish species utilise coastal habitats in at least one life-history stage and that 94% of these species are impacted by human activities acting upon these habitats.
This project investigates coastal habitat use by fish of recreational importance and the differential contributions of different habitats to fish population productivity.
Funding
The project is funded by the Danish Rod and Net Fishing Licence Funds.
Research area: Ecosystem based Marine Management
