Life cycle management is a practical approach to minimising the
environmental impact potentials and resource consumptions associated
with a product throughout its full life cycle. The scientific basis for life
cycle management is life cycle assessment of products.
The potential for life cycle management at Brødrene Hartmann A/S is
being investigated, as well as the related organisational problems.
A number of tools for facilitating the implementation of life cycle
managent are being developed as part of the investigations.
