Description
EUREKA-project
The aim of the Danish art of the project is to establish a design support system in order to prevent defects in forging processes based onnumerical and physical simulations. This involves an improvement of the model material technique including development of a new generation of soft model materials for simulation of metal forming processes and the design of a new measuring equipment. Furthermore the strong and weak sides of numerical and physical modelling has to be determined by setting up sets of bench mark tests based upon the formation of defects in forging processes.
