Project Details
Description
In a joint effort by ELTEK and NKT Research, the electrical properties of insulating materials for DC-applications are investigated at high electrical fields.
The conductivity and space distribution in test samples and power cables are measured, analyzed and related to the variating parameters.
The methods used for these investigations are the Pulse ElectroAcoustic (PEA) method, the Laser Induced Pressure Pulse(LIPP) method and a specific developed method for conductivity measurements.
From 01-03-99 M.Sc.E.E.Jesper Hjerrild is involved in the project as industrial Ph.D.-student.
