    Project Details

The aim of the project is to build up expertise in the high temperature corrosion area which is relevant to power plant operation. Based on alloy exposure in-situ in power plants, corrosion rates can be assessed. Using light optical and scanning electron microscopy to investigate corrosion products, a better understanding of corrosion mechanisms can be obtained.
