HEAT 4.0 - Digitally-supported District Heating

Project Details

Description

HEAT 4.0 aims at creating the next generation digital platform for the district heating industry. A high-tech platform that creates synergy between design, operation and maintenance of district heating - by integrating the latest technologies and research knowledge into a single product: HEATman. The result is a maximized economic and ecological effect.
HEAT 4.0 is a 'bridging' project, connecting the systems components across production, distribution and demand, between operation and planning and between research, innovation and business.

Key findings

Standardized cross system integration solutions supported by cloud systems as an enabler for innovative efficient implementation of research results.

Layman's description

By adapting standardized LEGO-like technologies, we are able to digitize utilities, such as district heating across all involved parties, from the district heating to the individual home user.
