Description
The aim of the project is to elaborate a handbook, that gives the window manufacturers a detailed knowledge of design tools and relevant informations for development of more energy efficient building envelope components.
Architects and consultants can in an easy way get access to relevant data and simple user-friendly energy calculation programs for fast evaluation of the influence on the energy consumption and the indoor climate, e.g. in case of a window exchange.
The handbook includes a user-friendly software package for calculation of energy consumption and indoor air temperatures. The program is prepared for later use of a database holding all commercial available window products on the market.
