Project Details
Description
Green Twins is a digital-twin platform aimed to reduce CO2 in industrial settings. It consists of multiscale models - CFD simulations, physical-statistical grey-box models and integrated system models - which will be used to describe and optimize for energy efficiency the CO2 capture from exhaust gasses of a pilot plant.
Layman's description
Digital Twin is a set of updatable virtual models of physical processes, used to describe and optimize, e.g., control in real time, those processes. Here we develop a digital twin to aid CO2 capture in industrial settings.
