Description

Globeman21 is a project in the interregional IMS (Intelligent Manufacturing System) program. The purpose of the interregional project is: To create the new paradigms, architectures, models and methods for the emerging global manufacturing environment, building on existing state of the art; and to establish new business processes by performing several industrial prototypes.
In total GM21 has 46 active partners. In Europe GM21 is funded under the ESPRIT program with 10 European partners.
IPV/DTU is responsible for the work package dealing with global manufacturing concepts including: architectures, methodologies, and general models for future competitive global manufacturing systems.
