Project Details

Description

Multiple myeloma is an incurable disease. We have established a retrospective study of treatment at relapse in 348 individual patients undergoing high dose treatment (HDT) and stem cell support in Denmark during 1994 to 2004. DNA and clinical data are available for all the included patients. The purpose of the study is to investigate the effect of genetic variation on time to relapse and overall survival as well as the interaction with different treatment strategies.
