The project contains a study of the state-of-the-art of gear metrology in general and on coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) in particular.
The Gauge Block Gear was developed as an artefact for the performance verification of CMMs while measuring pitch deviations.
The project is carried out in two institutions: IPT - DTU and DIMEG - University of Padova, Italy
