Description
The main purpose of the project is to develop and assess:
1. Production of Proteins (Single Cell Proteins, SCP) based on upgraded biogas produced on urban biowaste.
2. Recovery of nutrients after anaerobic digestion of urban bio-waste for use in protein production.
3. The sustainability of the overall production process from anaerobic digestion, biogas upgrading, nutrient recovery and the production of high-value animal protein feed from urban biowaste from circular economics principles.
