FOODTURE is a European initiative, coordinated by the BETA Technological Center, University of Vic and funded by the Horizon Europe programme, aimed at transforming the sustainability of the agri-food sector. With a consortium of 20 partners from across Europe and Peru, the project seeks to address environmental, economic, and social challenges through advanced Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodologies, improved data collection with Agriculture 4.0 tools, and cross-sector collaboration. FOODTURE will develop detailed environmental inventories, enhance impact assessment methods, and provide practical tools, policy recommendations, and training to drive systemic change toward a more resilient and circular food system
