Project Details
Description
The purpose of the study is to map participation and assess the safety impact of the current alcolock scheme in Denmark. In addition the purpose is to identify possible barriers for participation among subgroups of potential participants, and mechanisms that may reduce the intended safety effect, as well as to identify potential areas of improvement of the Danish alcolock scheme.
The project applies a mixed-methods approach combining different data sources e.g., self-reports from participants, non-participants and experts, socio-demographic register data as well as crash data. The study includes all potential participants since the current Danish alcolock system was implemented in 2017 to 2023.
