    Description

In order to ensure an early detection of radioactive fall-out a number of Early Warning Stations have been build in Eastern Europe. The instrumentation of the EWS includes a NaI(Tl) scintillator for gamma-ray spectrometry. The results of the measurements can in almost real time be downloaded to Denmark for evaluation. In the project different methods for examining the spectra are evaluated for detection level and speed.
