    Description

The main objective of the research work was to test various bore hole methods for determining aquifer hydraulic parameters and to apply inverse techniques for parameter estimation. The various techniques were tested at the Vejen field site, and particular emphasis was given to the testing of partially penetrating pumping tests and multi-level single-well dipole tests. The parameters from the different tests were compared to the results obtained from other field techniques. The study demonstrated the advantages of using numerical inverse models for parameter estimation.
The study was financed by the Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland (Geus).
