Description
As part of a European study on the estimation of emissions from traffic, an examination of the methods for estimating air pollutant emissions from rail-way traffic is being performed. The results will be utilized in international cooperative studies to determine the magnitude of air pollution emissions in Europe, and to evaulate the effectiveness of various emission control mea-sures and transport strategies.
