Project Details
Description
Project "Enorm Biofactory" is a waste valorisation project that will demonstrate how organic waste from agriculture and food industries can be converted into high-value insect meal. This will to take place in Denmark's first-ever, fully-automated, large scale production of Black Solider Flies (BSF). Here, organic waste will be converted into high value fish feed ingredients, and insect manure will be converted into high-value fertilizer. There will throughout the project be focus on production upscaling in consideration of minimizing waste production by establishing and improving internal, circular, process procedures and biomass streams.
