Ecosystem based management of fish stocks in the North Sea (39715/102551)

Project Details

Description

ECOMAN aims to support fisheries management both for single stocks and for stocks that are linked because they eat each other or are caught together in the same fisheries. This is achieved by improving the calculation of model input from data, examining changes in stock productivity and natural mortality, and by involving mixed fisheries in simplified advice if possible. Furthermore, the project aims to develop a relevant and understandable communication of the results.

Funding
The project is funded by the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund and the Danish Fisheries Agency.
