    Project Details

    Description

In this project it is being investigated how a series of workstation may be employed in the process of simultaneous calculations of sensitivities used in an optimization process for mechanical systems. Due to the relative long communication time between workstations compared to e.g. dedicated parallel processing computers, special emphasis is on the determination of the circumstances under which it is profitable to carry out the calculations in the distributed environment.
