Project Details
Description
Together with the Danish loudspeaker manufacturers AudioNord, Bang & Olufsen, DynAudio, Peerless and Vifa-Speak the Department of Acoustic Technology have participated in a joint research project on the reduction of distortion in loudspeakers.
In 1997 the analysis of the measurements and the listening tests were completed, and the project was concluded with the preparation of a report. The software developed during the project for the preparation and investigation of the signals for the listening tests was presented at the 102nd Convention of the Audio Engineering Society in Munich, Germany, in March.
The project has been supported financially by the Danish Agency for Development of Trade and Industry. The Danish Company Brüel & Kjær has supported the project with its technical resources.
