Project Details
Description
The aim of the project is to develop solar collectors, which easily can be built-in together with the building envelope systems. It is the aim, that the components of the solar heating are built-in in a cheaper way than using traditional solar collector boxes. By using solar collector connected to building envelope renovation, the elements of building parts benefit from each other. Solar collector benefits from the insulans from the wall behind, because the reducing of thermal loss from the collector, and in the same time the wall benefits from the solar collector, which again reduce the total heat loss out of the building. Further more, when the envelope of the solar collector become a part of building envelope, it might reduce the cost of material.
