Description
The project's overall aim is to develop techniques for production of flat oysters primarily in relation to aquaculture but also for restoration of beds of flat oysters lost in the Limfjorden due to infection with the parasite Bonamia.
The project is designed to support activities in the newly established oyster hatchery in Nykøbing Mors with focus on reliable, large scale production of spat for deployment in either grow-out structures or in situ.
