Development of modern rearing facilities for sustainable commercial production of mudcrab (39788)

DTU Aqua has been contacted by a danish company interested in producing Mud crab in South East Asia. Mudcrab is a difficult species to rear in aquaculture, but very expensive and regarded as a delicacy. Based on in house RAS expertise and expertise in larval nutrition, DTU Aqua has accepted to be involved in this pre-feasibility project as consultants with respect to providing knowledge on larval nutrition, system set-up and rearing technology.
