Development of models for assessing the disease burden for chemical compounds and nutritional factors in the Danish population

Description

The overall aim of the project is to estimate the burden of foodborne disease in Denmark due to chemicals and subuptimal diets. Specifically it is investigated how existing toxicological and epidemiological data on chemicals and nutritional factors can be utilized in the quantitative estimation of burden of disease. Exposure to acrylamide through foods and low consumption of fruits and vegetables will be used as case-studies
