The aim of the project is to develop systematic and integrated environmental management in Danish companies, that takes into consideration a holistic understanding of the relations between working environment, environment and technology. The project deals with barriers and opportunities for this development considering the company internal and external conditions. The project is designed as a research and development project, carried out in cooperation with four Danish companies. The analysis is based on different understandings of the company as a social system, AO. the concept of the company social constitution and theories of organizational culture. The project is funded by the Danish Labour Inspectorate and the Danish Council for Cleaner Technologies and Recirculation.
