Project Details
Description
The project will develop methods for stock assessments of blue mussels in areas with an uneven distribution of mussels due to varying water depths. Areas with water depths >15 m is a focus point in the project and how distribution of mussels in theses areas can be surveyed and included in the stock estimates. Different GIS-interpolations will be tested to ensure a stock estimate of blue mussels in mussel production area 92, located in the northern part of the Great Belt.
