In cooperation with the Danish Geotechnical Institute and Dansk Bentonit AS investigations for a clay deposit of Paleocene marine clay - Rødbyhavn Clay - to be used as raw material for bentonite has been carried out. The clay has been localized using geophysical investigations and high quality rotary drilling. It has been classified mineralogically and its commercial properties as bentonite is currently studied.
