Annex TS2 is a project aiming at facilitating the implementation of 4th generation Dis- trict Heating (4GDH). It is a continuation of the first task shared annex on 4GDH which aimed at collecting what is known about 4GDH in one report (Annex TS1). TS2 is a task-shared annex which means that there will be no individual, separate research projects started within the Annex. It also means that there is not one financing organization. Instead the participants bring own funding. The threshold for entering the project is a minimum effort of 12 person months per country. As in Annex TS1, Annex TS2 provides a framework for the exchange of research results from international initiatives and national research projects and allows gathering, compiling and presenting of information concerning preconditions for implementation of low temperature District Heating.
