Using a cycling simulator, the objective of the study is to better understand cyclist-car interaction in un-signalized intersection i urban areas. The study explores the influence of infrastructure design, cognitive distraction, driver behavior and maneuver complexity on cyclist' behavior and orientation. The study is conducted by the Technical University of Denmark, Division of Transportation Science in collaboration with the Techinical University of Braunschweig, Department of Traffic and Engineering Psychology. The study is financed by The Danish in-depth Crash investigation board (HVU).
