    Description

Industrial research project. The project is focused on numerical modelling of the material response in structures subjected to cyclic loadings. Theories of cyclic plasticity, continuum damage mechanics and low cycle fatigue are studied and used for developing a numerical model capable of describing the elastic-plastic behaviour of tool materials. The material model is incorporated in a FEM program and used for numerical studies.
The study is financed by Danfoss A/S and the MUP2 research programme Materials, Processing, Properties and Modelling.
