    Description

CACSD and CACE (Computer Aided Control Engineering) is a active field in international research. The new developemnets in computer hardware and software enables the developement
of new and enhanced tools and methodologies. Several subjects are treated in the departmental research:
    - User friendly interface construction in CACSD systems.
    - Implementation of device and system independant controller software.
    - Symbolic manipulation and representation in controller design
    - Development of standard methodologies and proceedures for modelling of electromechanical systems.
The department has both a HP 9000 UNIX server and PC platforms available for the research in this area. The software include MATLAB/Simulink including several toolboxes, Maple and Mathematica. More information may be found at http://www.iau.dtu.dk/research/control/CACE.html
