Description
My PhD focuses on computational approaches in microbial genomics and metagenomics. Part of it involves the analysis of genomic and transcriptomic datasets relating to CRISPR systems in the context of synthetic biology applications. The other part involves metagenomic analyses of samples of biotechnological (bioethanol fermentation) or clinical interest (gut microbiome response to antibiotics and cholesterol-lowering drugs)
