Circ2Build: Optimized circular pathways for absolute sustainability in construction

Project Details

Description

Construction is a strategic sector aiming at the transition to sustainable resource management. However, the complexity of the construction value chain requires a systemic approach to avoid misjudgments that could lead to strategies that theoretically make sense isolated but that in practice if not coordinated and combined properly can result in an increase in environmental impacts. So, the question of this research is how much circularity strategies can enhance sustainability in construction?
