Project Details
Description
There are vast potentials for the use of matemathical models in solving planning and scheduling tasks in industry. Actual use, however, does not match the potentials, the reason often being that the potential users are not aware of the possibilities. The aim of the project is to demonstrate the potentials concurrently with the development of systematic procedures for identification of application areas, methods for model development and methods for organisational implementation - in all aiming at securing implementable good/optimal solutions. The project in this way strives to transform the indentification-specification-development-implementation process into an industrialised process involving all relevant stakeholders and matching viewpoints.
