Project Details
Description
Project on the development of thin flexible cementitious overlays for
strengthening, repair and maintenace of asphalt pavements.
The material shall have a longer service life and less need for maintenance than traditional flexible surfacings, thus making the material competitive on a life time cost calculation. The project deals with the following:
- Development of a design criteria for such a material.
- Development of a cementitious overlay material which can be used for strengthening and a wearingcourse on flexible pavements even when applied in thin layes.
- Development of a paving technique.
- Full scale testing
- Development of a draf specification for the use of the new material.
