Project Details
Description
The purpose of the project is to develop a fully automatic 2D triangle mesh generation method. The method is based on the advancing front method with quadtree mesh size distribution. A modified boundary representation data structure is employed to store and manage the front. The method gives good local control of the mesh size distribution. A h-method adaptive finite element analysis is developed. The element energy error is used to construct a new mesh density control function and the mesh generator remeshes the domain accordingly.
