Description
Analysis of specific energy use and emissions of transportation means for freight transport trip chains, focusing particularly on freight trains and lorries. The analysis covers energy use and emissions of CO2, NOx, THC, CO, SO2 and PM. For freight trains a model is developed for energy and emissions as function of train type, length and capacity utilisation.
