Project Details

A collaboration between DTU and one of the worlds largest cement company, TAIHEIYO CEMENT CORPORATION in Japan has been developed recently. The project will be further developed during year 2008. The collaboration aims to establish a physically based model for concrete durability. The research is at a very high international level and contains challenges within disciplines such as continuum physics, chemistry and measurement techniques. The results from the collaboration have already gained international recognition through publications and participation at conferences. The progress of the scientific project is promising and we estimate that many new important finding will be the out come of the research during year 2010.
