A Framework for Problem Solving

The goal of the project is to identify a framework of models, which can describe problem solving in a number of relevant dimensions. For each dimension a description of the phenomenon and core models have to be set up. An important aspect in the research project is to define a consistent terminology, so terms and expressions from different dimensions are not in contrast.
The framework will be based on the model Generel Problem Solving, which focuses on a systematic approach in design work, and a number of dimensions, which capture the ambiguities and complexities of design work, inspired by results of recent years design research.
